PRESS RELEASE - 2010

Supply & Demand Chain Executive Announces Its 2010 Pros to Know

Livonia — February 24th, 2010

Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine, the executive's user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation, this week announced the tenth annual listing of Pros to Know in the Supply Chain Industry.

This year Supply & Demand Chain Executive is recognizing 26 individual Practitioner Pros to Know. The Practitioner Pros to Know is a listing of exceptional corporate executives at manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises who are demonstrating leadership during the current economic downturn by managing risk in the supply chain, providing competitive advantage and/or delivering value to the bottom line. This year's Practitioner Pros to Know list also includes recognition of one Supply Chain team.

"Our goal with the annual Practitioner Pros to Know listing is not only to highlight outstanding Supply Chain executives and their accomplishments but also to turn a spotlight onto the initiatives that leading organizations are undertaking to give their companies a competitive advantage as the economy emerges from the Great Recession," said Andrew K. Reese, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "These executives serve as role models for other Supply Chain practitioners looking to bring their own organizations through these turbulent times."

Supply & Demand Chain Executive also has released its list of 2010 Provider Pros to Know. The Provider Pros to Know is a listing of individuals from a software firm or service provider, consultancy, or analyst or research firm who have personally helped clients address the challenges of the recession and prepare for the recovery ahead. This year's list included more than 130 Provider Pros to Know.

"This year's Provider Pros to Know have shown themselves to be thought-leaders in the Supply Chain industry," said Reese. "Highlighting the learnings that the Provider Pros to Know have taken out of the Great Recession provides our readers with a wealth of best practices that they can apply in their own supply chains, as well as insights into how leading organizations are positioning themselves for competitive advantage in the Great Recovery ahead."

Supply & Demand Chain Executive, which has created three separate sets of criteria for the Practitioner, Practitioner Team and the Provider Pros to Know, issued a call for Pros to Know nominations in November 2009. Beginning in January, the magazine's editorial selection committee culled through more than 400 submissions to find the applicants that best fit the criteria. Submission information requested included:
