Robert Wiedmaier – Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Wiedmaier is a senior supply chain, operations and business development professional with more than 30 years of experience, most recently as President of
Performance Solutions, Inc., an operational and performance improvement solutions firm. Mr. Wiedmaier has also served as Vice President/Corporate Officer for
Ryder Logistics, Inc. in their logistics and supply chain management group, where he was responsible for providing and managing integrated logistics services and
lead logistics management solutions for clients globally. He has demonstrated success in turning around companies and improving company operating profitability.
Mr. Wiedmaier holds a B.S. degree from Wayne State University and is actively involved and holds a Board position with the Council of Supply Chain Management
Professionals, Warehouse Education and Research Council and the Association for Corporate Growth.
Drew Merrill – Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Planning
Mr. Merrill is a seasoned manager with 13 years of experience developing, selling and marketing complex technology solutions. He is responsible for all of CAPS’ sales and marketing activities and has been an officer of the company since 2004. Mr. Merrill has successfully managed sales teams for services and high-technology companies including Productivity Point International and Synapsis Solutions. He was co-founder and CEO of a high-tech e-Learning services firm that grew to $4M in 3 years, exceeding annual revenue targets by more than 50%. Since joining the company in 2003, Mr. Merrill’s solutions-based and client-centric approach has increased CAPS’ revenue by 73% while maintaining a 96% customer retention rate. Additionally, Mr. Merrill is a member of the Reusable Packaging Association’s (RPA) Board of Directors and currently holds the position of RPA Vice Chairman. Mr. Merrill has a B.A. from Northwestern University.
C. Keith Chulumovich – Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Chulumovich started with the Company in 2004 and is responsible for CAPS’ operational, financial and information technologies activities. Prior to joining CAPS, Mr. Chulumovich served in various financial management roles within the Tier I automotive community, specializing in turnaround and start-up activity. Mr. Chulumovich started his career in public accounting with the firm of Deloitte, Haskins, & Sells (Deloitte & Touche) in Detroit, serving privately held companies in the manufacturing, real estate and leasing industries. Mr. Culumovich has a B.A. from Michigan State University.
Meet Our Lazard Alternative Investments Board of Directors
Aubrey J. Barth
Mr. Barth is a Managing Principal of Corporate Partners. Prior to joining Lazard’s private equity investment group in 1998, he was in its investment banking division, which he joined in 1996, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, financings and other major corporate transactions. Mr. Barth is a member of the board of directors of several companies. He received an A.B., cum laude, in Social Studies from Harvard College, where he was a Harvard College Scholar.
Jonathan H. Kagan
Mr. Kagan is a Managing Principal of Corporate Partners. Previously, Mr. Kagan was a Managing Director of Corporate Partners I, which he joined in 1990, and of Centre Partners Management LLC, which managed the Centre Capital funds. He began his career in the investment banking division of Lazard in 1980 and became a General Partner in 1987. At Lazard, Mr. Kagan helped head the corporate finance and capital markets areas. He is or has been a member of the board of directors of a number of NYSE- and NASDAQ-listed companies and private companies. Mr. Kagan received an M.A. (1st Hon.) from Oxford University and an A.B., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Harvard College.
Ali E. Wambold
Mr. Wambold is a Managing Principal of Corporate Partners and the Chief Executive Officer of Lazard Alternative Investments LLC. He joined Lazard in 1985 and became a General Partner in 1987. Since 1999, Mr. Wambold has been responsible for Lazard’s North American alternative investment activities. Prior to that, he was a senior investment banker in Lazard's New York and London offices. He was a founder, co-head and board member of Corporate Partners I. Before joining Lazard, Mr. Wambold was a Vice President of Lehman Brothers. He is or has been a member of the board of directors of a number of publicly and privately held companies in the United States and abroad. Mr. Wambold received an M.B.A. in Finance, Marketing and International Business from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, where he graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma honors, and an A.B. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Harvard College. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
